BE PART OF ONE PUNCH KILL! One Punch Kill is a powerful short film set in a northern English town, exploring how pride, reputation, peer pressure and public humiliation can build toward a single fatal act of violence.
The story follows the events leading up to one devastating punch and examines the people, choices and social pressures surrounding it. Rather than focusing only on the moment of violence, the film asks a deeper question: what causes someone to reach that point?
Written by Simon Morrell and produced by Ember Production, the project aims to create an emotionally honest and thought-provoking film that encourages conversation about violence, responsibility and the consequences of split-second decisions.

Being Bullied, A True Story.
Feature film based on From Bullied to Black Belt.
We are currently working on a script for the feature film project, Being Bullied, based on Simon's award-winning books, From Bullied to Black Belt and An Everyday Warrior.
The true story of an honest man's fear, it tells of how Simon overcame agoraphobia and the violence inflicted on him by his peers and his own father, only to then have to face members of the IRA and Liverpool gunmen, to satisfy his father's debts.
Simon went on to beat his fears and become a leading British Fighter (MAI Hall of Fame), award-winning author and public speaker. He attributes his success to his desire to beat his fears and anxieties, and his wife Julie, who never left his side through all his trouble.

One Punch Kill
A Short Film
Some time ago in the last quarter of the year in Northern Ireland, 27 men were killed from single punches to the head in drink-related violence. This was in the run-up to the Christmas festivities.
When a troubled youth, Jonah, rises to the bait of his narcissistic father, the results have devastating effects. One Punch Kill is a lesson to us all on the dangers of toxic masculinity and contains an important social message.
One Punch Kill has now been taken up for production by British film production company, Ember Films.

It Only Takes A Phone Call
Short Film
Steven is a honest, family man who bears the burden of his 'wannabe gangster' father, a supposedly local hardman.
When Steven inadvertently falls foul of some heavies, he is torn between resolving the situation legally and peacefully or by taking his father's option of using violence by bringing in equally bad people, doing so by making the ever threatening 'phone call.'
A classic good versus evil story with far reaching implications for anyone tempted to enter a dark ford or world of criminal retribution.
One Last Round
Stage Play
Set in a English working man's pub with a cast of just three main players, 'One Last Round is made ideal as the setting for a stage production.
A fighter with a drink problem, coming toward the end of his career has a dreadful decision to make to bring in the pennies.
Make a low-key appearance in the ring for what he knows will be his last fight or use his gift of fighting for the violent delights of local gangsters and do their bidding for them.
Sitting at a table in a grim bar, he pours his heart out to his wife and his best friend, seeking their thoughts on his choice.
One Last Round is a tale of the tough decision facing all men coming to the end of their 'summer.'

Simon also appeared as a guest on Mark Ross's Speak Your Truth podcast to tell of his story. He was candid and honest, and it was clear to see from the very start that both men respected each other very much, and a friendship was born out of the show. Simon recently made an appearance on Luke Colson's podcast, speaking about the adversity he has faced and overcome, the people he has met on the way and how you too can overcome your fears and go on to achieve what you want to achieve.

Panic & Positivity
Panic & Positivity is a short talk Simon gave on the stage in the summer of 2023.
In it he talks of how he overcame his own doubts and fears, but also of a personality that is global, yet still struggles. You will be surprised to find out who the star is.

This short film was made in the USA and shows Simon training with his daughter Luka, and the family being interviewed, talking candidly about some of their experiences.
All true stories inspired by the book.
Simon on the BBC
Simon has spoken many times on local and national radio, but his favourite interview by far was with the BBC's Jason Mohammad on his writing and experiences with bullies.

In July 2022, Simon featured on Liquid Bullet Productionz with top man Lee Mayo.
"Lee and I hit it off right away. He was great at drawing out my story, from playground violence to hardcore gangsters. What made it more interesting is Lee's own incredible story, and I was honoured when he asked me to write it.
In April 2022, Simon was hosted by Matt Jardine of The Buddhist Millionaire.
Simon and Matt chatted for over an our about past experiences and future goals. Naturally, the two have become firm friends with Simon expressing what a pleasure it was to be interviewed by Matt.
In September 2020, Simon took part in Dan Holloway's podcast, 'The Martial View'.
In this appearance, he pulled no punches. He was honest about his fears, his shortfalls and his alcohol abuse but was also forthright about his well earned strengths, victories and awards.
Despite The Fear
This very short doc-film was produced some time ago and is a very honest insight into the fears Simon has faced and overcome, including a particularly bad time when Simon was at loggerheads with a gang of local drug dealers.
A Blast From the Past.
Sometime ago Simon talked on the Walkinta Podcast and hit it off with host Travis straight away.
