During our quest to see Beyond the Bruises secure a publishing contract, we realised we needed two things. One was a literary agent, and after much searching and sending out proposals, we were lucky enough to sign a contract with one based in the USA.

The first very valuable piece of advice she gave was that we also needed to find a good editor, and I am very pleased to say we did.
